Christiana Dudik was born and raised in Park City, Utah- bred to be on the slopes, yet fell in love with the ice at age eight.  She was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be a multi-sport athlete between mogul skiing, figure skating, and later, hockey.  At the age of eight, she joined one of her friends on a figure skating session at the Park City Ice Arena, which was less than a year old at the time.  This was the spark to a whole new fire in Christiana's life, new challenges and endless opportunities ahead of her.

Beginning with figure skating, she competed locally, regionally, and nationally for the Figure Skating Club of Park City.  Through her intensive year round training, she was able to become a Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field, pass her Intermediate Freeskate, and Pre-silver Ice Dancing Tests.  Her biggest love though, was performing... in shows, at hockey games, in competitions- involved in her home club's annual shows, competing at US Figure Skating's National Showcase, as well as performing with American Ice Theater Utah she took every chance to get out in front of a crowd.  Her love of skating didn't stop at performing, she learned to love teaching the sport just as much.  Starting out as a volunteer with the local Learn to Skate program, she gained a great amount of experience teaching all ages and skill levels.

With all this time she spent figure skating, how in the heck did she get involved with hockey?! Well, long story short, on a whim she threw on a pair of hockey skates just for the fun of it and was stoked on the challenge.  In her freshman year of high school, she joined the all-boys high school team.  Learning how to skate for the second time around on a different set of blades, she gained a fresh perspective on skating in regards to both sports.  Training with the high school team, as well as the Utah Lady Grizzlies, she was hooked.  Hockey opened another opportunistic door in the coaching realm, as she started teaching basic hockey skating and shadowing power skating sessions led by her own coach and mentor, Shannon Bennett.

Christiana is now living in Bozeman, Montana- attending Montana State University, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Coaching.  She is currently coaching private figure skating and hockey skating lessons, working with Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association for their recreational teams and power skating clinics, as well as she is the head skating coach for the MSU Bobcats team.
